Today’s project is a simple fun fold card that works with many different sentiments for any occasion!
Stamp sets shown: Heartfelt Hexagon, Courage & Faith, Layering Leaves
Here are the details to create this card:
Supplies/Measurements:
Card base-5 x 5 1⁄2, score along the 5” side at 4 1⁄4
DSP (Splendid Autumn 6×6): 4 1⁄4 x 5 1⁄2 , 3⁄4 x 5 1⁄4 , 1⁄2 x 4 3/8, 1 x 4 3/8 Basic White: 5 1⁄4 x 4 (inside)
Linen Thread, Hexagon Punch
Directions:
- Fold and burnish card base. *There will be a 3⁄4” flap on the side.
- Adhere the DSP to the inside of the 3/4” flap on the side of the card. *Tip-Lay the DSP on the inside and add adhesive along the card flap then close the flap.
- Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the inside of card
- Stamp sentiment inside the punched window.
- Adhere DSP strip inside card.
- Tie Linen Thread around the 3/4” flap of the card base and tie in a bow. *I add a mini glue dot under the bow to keep the thread in place.
- Adhere DSP strips to the front of the envelope.
