One of the fun things we get to do at Stampin’ Up! events is to play with new product! We made five cards throughout the day using some new stamps, ribbons, and paper. Here’s a look at the cards.

I love to color and these birds from the Bird Ballad Suite look like little chickadees to me. Of course you can use the Stampin’ Blends and make any color bird you want! The Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper makes a gorgeous backdrop and the Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim adds a soft touch. I love the sentiments in the Free As A Bird Stamp Set! In fact I love the entire suite and ordered it all!

This card uses products from the Follow Your Art Suite. The It Starts With Art stamp set has fun sayings and adorable crafting tools to stamp and color. It even has coordinating Arts & Crafts Dies! If you follow my blog you know I love lighthouses and the beach! So you can imagine I was goo goo over this next card and suite.

The Come Sail Away Suite will appeal to the men in your life as well as anyone who enjoys the coast. There is so much variety in the Designer Series Papers in this pack! I love the Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine and the Sail Away Trinkets add the perfect finishing touch! I bought this set as a bundle with the coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies. My next card is from the Perennial Essence Suite. The Designer Series Papers in this suite remind me of Van Gogh paintings.

This suite isn’t really what I would call my style though I do love the colors in the DSP. I also like the Perennial Flower Punch and the colored Vellum Cardstock.

I have been trying to get back in to the swing of things since getting back from my vacation. I’ve always said I need a vacation after my vacation to recuperate! LOL I usually take my Paper Pumpkin kit with me on vacation but I left before my July kit arrived so I grabbed the Soft Sayings Card Kit. Oh my! This has to be one of the most gorgeous kits Stampin’ Up! has ever done! It’s a WOW! and so quick & easy to put together! Check out this video showcasing this all-inclusive card kit.

One of the (many) things I love about this kit is you can purchase the refill kit at a great cost ($21 for 20 cards)! What a deal! You get everything in the refill kit except the stamp set, ink, and box. I love to give a set of cards as gifts and this is a beautiful assortment! By making 2 of each card you can give 2 people 10 cards each…that’s a nice gift for a teacher, friend, hostess, coworker, etc.!
