Welcome to my ABC Color Series! Stampin’ Up! offers so many great color choices! I love to combine different colors and patterns and hope to inspire you with some fun color combinations throughout this series. Stampin’ Up! doesn’t have a color that begins with U so today I am sharing some Unexpected Color Combinations.

In addition to creating cards, I love decorating my home with color and pattern. I read an article recently (from Mommy’s Memorandum) on some “surprising” home decor color combinations. While some of these color choices may be surprising in your home, I think they will make great color choices for your next card project.

Sometimes changing up the color combos—even when using the same card design—creates a completely different look and feel!

Measurements:

Card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Coordinating Cardstock Layer: cut 2 @ 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
Embossed Layer: 3 3/4 x 5
Basic White: 3 3/4 x 5 (inside), scrap to stamp and punch sentiment

I love Stampin’ Up! punches! Stamp a sentiment or image on cardstock, then cut it out with the punch. So easy! I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch on these cards. You can make quick labels, tags, and accents with this punch. It works with so many sentiment stamps! You can purchase the punch as a bundle and save 10%! Happy New Year! Welcome Back to my ABC Color Series! Stampin’ Up! offers so many great color choices! I love to combine different colors and patterns and hope to inspire you with some fun color combinations throughout this series. Today’s project features one of my favorite returning colors, Lost Lagoon. It goes well with many different colors.

A new year means a new calendar! I decided to use the gorgeous Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (FREE during Sale-A-Bration starting January 4th) on these calendar cards. Let’s take a closer look at the colors.

Stampin Up! has many great sentiments that can be used on calendar cards. Shown are Heartfelt Hexagon, Heartfelt Hellos (2024 Sale-A-Bration), and So Sincere Stamp Sets. These were punched out using the Modern Oval and Heartfelt Hexagon Punches.
