I couldn’t resist one last nod to the 2018-2020 retiring In Colors. I love the bold colors and will miss Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick the most. This is one of the cards that was included in my Just Stampin’ Card Kit To Go for May. I always include at least one fun fold card in each monthly kit. I made 5 different versions to show the versatility of my card kits. I create them so that you can use any stamp set you already have to add a sentiment. All you have to do it stamp and adhere! Everything you need to create is already cut, scored, and ready to assemble. Plus you can refer to the tutorials to create more on your own!

I have shared in the past that I sell my cards at a local shop to benefit our local chapter for Breast Cancer Awareness. I sell my cards for $4 each and donate $1 for each card I sell. If you would like to purchase one of these cards I will include the tutorial as a bonus.

Email me (j.stark@myactv.net) with “In Color card & tutorial” in the subject line. *Make sure you include your mailing address! Then send payment through PayPal. PLEASE follow these steps exactly! (I will not be sending you an invoice.) Go to paypal.com, sign in or register for an account, click “Send” and fill in my email address (j.stark@myactv.net). Click “next”, then “Send to a Friend,” fill in the amount ($4.70 which includes shipping), and Continue. If you do not use PayPal, you may send me a check.

I will send you the card in the mail and email you the tutorial.

A Taste of the Retiring In Colors

I am going to be sad to see the 2018-2020 bold In Colors retire! Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushel are two of my favorite colors! Here’s a look at how well these colors coordinate with some of my favorite candy…peanut M&M’s. Yummilicious!

These little lids for the tiny treat boxes are super quick & easy to make. Here’s the measurements:

Cardstock: (2) 3 1/16 x 3 1/16 scored at 1/2 on all 4 sides
DSP: (8) 3/8 x 2, (2) 2 x 2

Fold and burnish the cardstock along the score lines then cut and notch the end pieces (as shown below). Adhere the DSP along the sides and middle. Then use liquid glue or Tear & Tape on the tabs to fold and secure the lid.

I stamped the sentiment from the So Sentimental Stamp Set and cut it out with the coordinating Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered it inside the lid for a little surprise when they open it!

I added an In Color decorative button on the top of each and wrapped them all up with the coordinating grosgrain ribbons! I cut the smallest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to make the buttons and bow stand out.
