Happy Thursday! Today is the first Tic Tac Toe Challenge of the new year and I am honored to be the designer this week. Here’s the challenge board I created.

I used all nine elements on my project this week.

I love to make cards and 3D projects to coordinate with gifts I give. This “Bee-utiful” bag will hold the little bee hand puppet I am giving to a sweet little 2 year old who definitely “makes my heart buzz”.

The sentiment and bee are from the Be My Valentine Bundle. I love it when a stamp set comes with a coordinating punch! The Bee My Valentine Stamp Set is un-bee-lievably cute and versatile! You can stamp the bees in different colors and in any direction, as the body is completely symmetrical. No matter how you use this bundle, your crafts will have their own buzz around them!

This project is simple to make and I have some tips to share with you for using the Bee Builder Punch. First, let’s take a closer look at this adorable Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! called Bee Mine.

This paper is full of bright colors and pastel patterns to help you celebrate all of your occasions centered around love. Each page offers new possibilities. You can fussy cut the individual bees, die cut the striped and gingham paper, or use the jars of honey paper for a unique card base. Mix and match the color palette to create something special for each recipient. Every craft is simply meant to bee! You can easily use the patterned paper past Valentine’s Day as each sheet is double-sided and there are some beautiful flower designs to welcome spring.

Here are the details to create the gift bag. *Thanks to Sam Donald (aka Pootles) who provided the measurements for the bag.

Start with a piece of 12 x 12 DSP. *Make sure the pattern is facing the right direction.
Score on the first side at 2″, 5 3/4″, 7 3/4″, 11 1/2″
Turn and score on the other side at 2″. *The 2″ score line will be the bottom of your bag.
Fold on score lines. Then cut the score lines along the bottom of the bag just up to the 2″ score line.
Remove the 1/2″ rectangle at the bottom and miter the end.
Add Tear & Tape along the 1/2″ end and fold over to adhere.
Fold in the side flaps, fold down the top flap and add Tear & Tape along the bottom flap. Fold bottom flap up to adhere.
Use the Tailor Made Tags Dies to cut two tags. Cut the larger tag using DSP and another in Basic White.
Stamp sentiment and hearts on tag. Embellish with Adhesive-backed Hearts. Adhere tags askew with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thread tag through ribbon then wrap ribbon around bag and tie a bow in front. Punch hearts from Sweet Sorbet cardstock using Bee Builder Punch and adhere to ends of ribbon with Mini Glue Dots.
Stamp and punch bee and add to tag with Stampin’ Dimensional.

*Bee Builder Punch Tip
Use the Bee Builder Punch to punch a template. Lay the template on top of the white cardstock you are going to stamp. Stamp inside the template. Then punch all the pieces at once. Viola!

Looking Back at 2023 in 3D

I love to make gifts and treats for my family, friends, and customers. Today I’m sharing some of my 3D projects from 2023. *Click on the image to view the original post.

The Cracker & Treat Box Dies (Item #159182) make these quick & easy to create for any occasion!

The Heart Punch Pack and leaf dies made it easy to create fun table favors. You can easily substitute different punches or dies. I made these another year with Christmas trees.

These note pad covers are fast and fun to make! Choose your favorite Designer Series Papers and give these as gifts or for yourself. Our family plays games and we use these to keep score.

Another quick & easy table favor/treat holder. A few score lines on a piece of cardstock and decorate as desired. Great to have on hand to give out to coworkers, waitress, hairdresser, postal workers, etc.

The Pretty Pillowbox Dies were one of my favorites!!! I used these dies for so many things without ever making a pillowbox! LOL

The box bag below is fun to make with any Designer Series Papers. A great way to gift $, small gifts, or treats. The Beautiful Balloon Dies (Item #161456) are so versatile and make great tags or embellishments for different projects.

These In Color Treat Bags (Item # 161752) really come in handy for quick gifting! They are food safe so you can fill with your favorite cookies to share with friends, neighbors, workers, etc. A quick & simple tag with some cardstock, DSP, and ribbon and you are good to go! I embellished these with the Tailor Made Tags Dies (Item # 155563), Circle Sayings Bundle, and Cheerful Daisies Bundle. Grab some bags and use what you have!

The Tricks & Treats Dies (Item # 162225) is retiring soon (on Jan 3)! These dies make quick & easy bags all year long! The finished bag is 3 x 4 x 1 and holds more than you think! You’ll want these in your collection! I use them often! Great for hostess gifts!

A Quick & Easy All Occasion Treat Box

Yesterday I shared my card for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. (If you missed that post you can view it HERE.) I love to make coordinating cards & gifts. Today I am sharing a treat box I made to go with yesterday’s card.

This treat box is perfect for gifting jewelry, some lipstick/makeup, chocolates, cash, a gift card, etc.

It’s really a nice size box. The finished size is 3 x 4 x 1. I can fit 2 of my oyster shell decor/ trinket dishes inside. (*Check out my facebook page if you would like to see the many different shells I create.)

I used the Tricks & Treats Dies (*retiring soon) to create the box. You can use these dies to make treat packaging throughout the year…not just for Halloween.

Here are the details to make the box:

Measurements

Blueberry Bushel card base: 5 1/2 x 11 – cut 2 box die
Winter Meadow 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper: 2 1/2 x 3 3/4
Garden Green: scrap to punch leaf from Bough Punch
Basic White: scrap to cut banner from Stylish Shapes

Directions

Cut 2 of the treat box dies. Fold and burnish both pieces with a bone folder.
Adhere sides together.
Fold in side tabs, then both flaps. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or other strong adhesive.
Adhere DSP to the front of the box.
Stamp sentiment and cut out with banner from Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere to box with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Punch leaf with Bough Punch. Adhere to box with a Mini Glue Dot.
Tie a simple knot or bow with Starry Night Metallic Woven Ribbon. Adhere with Mini Glue Dot.
