I would love to have you join me for this week’s Mystery Monday Stampin’! It’s really fun and easy… just follow the clues to create! You will find the first clue (the supplies and measurements) for this week’s challenge below.

This week’s mystery card is another fun fold design (with a hidden surprise). Sound mysterious??? Get ready to solve the mystery.

CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies to be ready to play Mystery Monday Stampin’

Cardstock– 4 1/4” x 11” for card base
Designer Series Paper- *Cut landscape piece: 5 1/4 x 12, plus extra if decorating envelope
Basic White – 3 3/4 x 5 (for inside card), plus extra for card front
Coordinating Cardstock colors
Ink
Stamps
Adhesive – Including Dimensionals
Embellishment- ribbon, adhesive dots or gems/sequins (*optional)
Envelope
Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder, Cut & Emboss Machine (*optional)
*Optional – die cut and/or punch, embossing folder

Did you play along with my Mystery Monday Stampin’? If you followed the clues you would have created a fun fold card similar to these.

This fun fold is called a Puzzle Slider Card. I saw several different versions on Pinterest and couldn’t wait to give it a try! What do you think? Cool design?

I had to create more than one card (especially when it’s a “new to me” fun fold)! Here’s a closer look at each.

This pattern from the Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Series Paper just looked like a puzzle to me. This is such a unique paper pack!

Inspired by the art of Kintsugi, you can use the gold foil fractured designs as backgrounds to tags and scrapbook pages. Or pair the airy blossom patterns and precut ceramic shapes for card focal points.

The flowers and vase used on the front of my card are cut from the DSP. I did a little “surgery” on the vase using the hobby blade with my Take Your Pick Tool. I cut a small slit so I could insert the flowers in the vase. Then I popped the flowers and vase up with dimensionals.

I made several of these cards to send to some of my stamping friends who inspire me everyday! I have some awesome friends!!!

I really like adding a bit of texture to the inside of the card with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder. It looks like it goes with the flower pattern in the paper.

I love these cards as intended! I also like to stretch the kit and see what else I can make. The card base I used is printed on both sides so I simply cut it half to use one side for my card. I still have the other half which I can adhere to a solid card base for another card! Two for one!!!

The kit comes with a beautiful stamp set which I could have used; however, I chose sentiments for the front and inside of my card from the Peaceful Garden Suite which will debut in the Mini Catalog in September. The Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder and die I used on the inside of this card is also part of the suite. LOVE IT!!!

Cardstock (same color as card base) – 2 @ 2 1/8 x 3 1/4 , 2 @ 2 1/8 x 2 1/4
Designer Series Paper- *Cut landscape piece: 5 x 3 3/4, plus extra if decorating envelope
Basic White – 4 x 5 1/4 (for inside card), plus extra for sentiment
Ink
Stamps
Adhesive – Including Dimensionals
Embellishment- ribbon, adhesive dots or gems/sequins (*optional)
Envelope
Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder, scissors if needed to fussy cut
*Optional – die cut or punch for sentiment layer
