Thank You So Very Much “In Colors”

The 2015-2017 In-Colors are set to retire on May 31, 2017.  We KNOW from past experience that they sell out quickly once the retiring list is posted in April.  Do yourself a favor and stock up on your favorite colors NOW, before there is a chance they are gone!!

2015-2017 In Colors

  • Do you have the stamp pads?  Make sure to purchase refills!!
  • Do you like the color? Make sure to stock up on cardstock and Designer Series Papers!
  • And, don’t forget the Marker Set if that’s something you like to have on hand.
  • Remember, there are also In-Color ribbon and embellishment choices that also sell out quickly.

The best part of stocking up NOW is that you earn a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with every $50 you spend. The sentiment I used on today’s cards is from the So Very Much stamp set which you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration through March 31st (or while supplies last). I needed some thank you cards to send to the families that sponsored my Family Bingo fundraiser at school. I love the big bold Thank You in this set!  I used the different retiring In Colors for these cards. Do you have a favorite color?

A Desk Calendar

Stampin Up In Color desk calendars using Perfectly Wrapped stamp set and Blossom Bunch Punch - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

I made 50 of these desk calendars for the World Card Making Day swap in Atlanta last weekend.  I had so much fun swapping and wanted to give something they could enjoy all year long to remind them of our “Happy Day”.  If you follow my blog you know that I sell my cards at a local shop to help raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.  If you would like more information about these desk calendars please email me (   These would make great gifts for teachers, hairdressers, coworkers, or just about anyone. Just a little reminder to make each day a “Happy Day”.

Here’s a close up of each of the colors.

D is for Dapper Denim DSP

Dapper Denim 2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper

Welcome to my alphabet series, The ABC’s with DSP!  This month I am featuring projects showcasing Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper. Today’s designer series paper is from the 2016-2018 In Color DSP Paper Stack. You get 40 sheets of DSP in the paper stack: 4 each of 2 double-sided designs in 5 colors. Dapper Denim is one of my favorites!

Dapper Denim Designer Series Paper with Designer Tin of Cards Stamp Set

I love how Dapper Denim works so well with many different colors.  Think of your favorite pair of jeans and how many different tops you can wear with them.  I could have kept playing with mixing different colors with Dapper Denim but I stopped at 4 (for now).  The colors I used are So Saffron, Sweet Sugarplum, Emerald Envy, and Cherry Cobbler. I used the Designer Tin of Cards Stamp Set for each of the sentiments on my cards today. I just got this stamp set and couldn’t wait to ink it up!

I seem to be on a roll with different ways to cut a piece of 6 x 6 DSP to make cards. I like to challenge myself to use every piece.  For today’s cards I cut off a piece that measures 2 1/4 x 6 to use for the envelope flap.  I was left with a piece of 3 3/4 x 6.  I used a piece of 3 3/4 x 5 for the layer on my card front and was left with a piece of 1 x 3 3/4.  Can you guess what I did with the leftover piece?

I used Delicate White Doilies on top of the DSP for each card.  I stamped the sentiment in Dapper Denim ink then cut it out using the Layering Circles Thinlits. I popped this up with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the card.  I used the Triple banner Punch to punch my strips of 1 x 5 1/2 cardstock. The heart is from the Regal Enamel Shapes.  I added the leftover strip of DSP on the inside of my card and then dressed up my envelope to match.

I love the richness of these 2 colors together! Here’s a look at the other cards I made using each of the different Dapper Denim DSP.

The flower on this card if from the Tree Builder Punch.  I added a Dapper Denim In Color enamel shape for the dot in the center of the flower.

The Designer Tin of Cards Stamp Set comes has 33 photopolymer stamps in the set. Great sentiments to pair on the inside of the card as well as extra doodles to enhance your projects.  It coordinates with the Designer Tin of Cards Project Kit.  (I am holding a class locally to put this kit together later this month.)  I stamped the sprinkles and confetti on this card using Sweet Sugarplum ink. Here’s the inside sentiment and matching envelope.

Previously I posted this thank you card using the Dapper Denim DSP.  It is from a set  of cards I made using the different colors from the In Color DSP Stack.  You can click on the image to see the original post.
