Welcome to Day 8 of my 12 Days of Christmas! I am so excited to bring you 12 days of fun Christmas projects that will hopefully inspire you! Today I am sharing another fun fold card. This one is a shadowbox card featuring the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. Stampin' Up! Nests of Winter Shadowbox card idea with Ornamental Christmas stamp set-Jeanie Stark StampinUp
Fun fold cards are a lot easier to create than they look. I love the depth with a shadowbox card! The birds are cut from the Nests of Winter DSP. I used the retired dies to cut them but you could fussy cut. The Linen Thread bow adds some natural texture.

I chose a sentiment from Ornamental Christmas for the front. So many sentiments would work with this card! You could easily stamp directly on the front before adhering the card.
(That “may” have been my original intention. Did you know a simple strip hides inky mistakes?! LOL)

Bring a timeless feel to your Christmas and holiday cards and tags with the Traditions of Christmas 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. It’s covered with poinsettias and other Christmas flowers in traditional reds and greens, accented with touches of gold foil. This classic option is ideal for capturing the spirit of the season.

I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch for the sentiment layer. I love that you can turn this horizontal or vertical depending on your sentiment. This card could easily be a December birthday card by simply changing the sentiment.

Snowy Delights for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #285

It’s Thursday! That means it’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

I love it when I get special requests for cards! I needed two cards for two sisters. Alex loves blues & aqua’s so here’s her card:

I created Tic Tac Toe two ways. I went across the top and on the diagonal (top left to bottom right) using these elements: texture, blue, bow, free, and sparkle. I love to add the special personalization using the Playful Alphabet Dies. I added a sweet sentiment and more die cut snowflakes on the inside of the card.

Alex’s sister, Sophie, likes pink so I made an identical card for her using pink.

This card was quick & easy to create! I used the Silent Snowflake Specialty Designer Series Paper for the added texture. The large snowflakes were cut from the Snowy Delights Dies. What teen doesn’t like a little bling?!! I love the sparkle you get from the Rhinestone Basic Jewels!
