Daffodil Daydream for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #203

It’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge! How would YOU like to be a guest designer? Simply play along and someone will be chosen each week to be a future guest designer.  Here’s this week’s challenge board…
I chose across the bottom: flowers, ribbon, free.

I was inspired to create this card after my morning walk with my sweet fur baby. Bo wanted to check out all the pretty daffodils blooming in our yard.

This is a quick & easy card to create. I love how you stamp the sentiment on the inside and can see it on the front of the card too!

Here’s the details if you would like to make this fun fold card.

• Daffodil Delight cardstock – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2.  Line up the score line at 1 3/4 and cut off the bottom of the card front.  From the piece you just cut, cut a piece measuring 1 3/4.  You will have a leftover piece that is 2 x 4 1/4.  Cut that piece so it measures 2 x 3 1/2.  This piece will be the “bridge” to connect the top and bottom of the card.
• Perfectly Penciled DSP – Cut 2 pieces 4 x 1 1/2
• Whisper White Cardstock – 4 x 5 1/4 (inside piece), 1 3/4 x 3 1/4 to stamp daffodil.

Adhere the DSP to the Daffodil Delight card base and bottom piece.  Stamp the flower in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White and color with Stampin’ Blends.  I used Old Olive and Daffodil Delight. Adhere the stamped image to the Daffodil Delight layer and attach to the card at the top and bottom of the layered piece.
