How wonderful that there is a day dedicated to card making! There’s something cool about knowing that people all over the world will be creating handmade kindness today to send to others. My daughter is home for fall break this weekend and we are going to make some cards to give to our local chapter for Breast Cancer Awareness. Our local chapter has so many dedicated people working hard to raise funds and offer help to those suffering. Every week “Angels” send out cards to patients going through treatment so they are always in need of some pretty cards.
I hope you will find some time today to create a little something or send a card in honor of World Card Making Day. You don’t need a birthday or special occasion to send a card…just let someone know you are thinking of them. Everyone loves getting “Happy Mail”!
