Autumn Harvest Treats

Yesterday I shared with you a “wicked good” treat I made with the Spooky Cat Suite.  If you missed that post you can see it HERE.  Today’s projects use another one of my favorite suites in the new Holiday catalog, Painted Autumn.

I love the new pizza boxes in the Holiday Catalog! They fit 3 x 3 note cards and envelopes as well as gift cards, jewelry, and more. They’re also food safe and perfect for a large homemade cookie or fudge. YUM!  Read on to see what I found to put in mine.

The Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper has sunflowers, pumpkins, acorns, and much more painted in a beautiful retro style, echoing motifs from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.

Coordinating colors: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Garden Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Sky, Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla

I cut a 3 x 3 piece of the DSP, layered it with a piece of 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Cajun Craze Cardstock, and adhered it to the top of the pizza box. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso on a scrap piece of Cajun Craze and punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch.  I love the sentiments and font in the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.

I adhered the burlap ribbon and Touches of Nature Embellishment with Glue Dots and popped up the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I was so excited with what I found to put inside…chocolate covered autumn leaves (from Cracker Barrel).

The colors are perfect with the DSP!  I layered the DSP on the inside (using the same measurements as the top of the box) and cut out the stamped sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I also cut 4 strips of DSP (3/4 x 3) and layering cardstock (1 x 3 1/4) for the sides of the pizza box. I love how this little gift turned out!

I can never make just one when I’m playing with new products! I love the sunflower print paper and made the DSP layer on the top of this one 1/4″ larger.

The DSP measures 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 and the Crushed Curry layer measures 3 3/8 x 3 3/8.  I fussy cut the sunflower on top from the DSP.  How easy is that?! The leaves are 2 step stamped in Wild Wasabi and punched out with the coordinating Leaf Punch.  I also punched one in vellum and tucked them in.  I love how the leaves I cut from the DSP match so nice with my stamped leaves.  Stampin’ Up! does such a great job color coordinating our products! I used the Early Espresso marker to just ink up part of the sentiment to make my little tag. The finishing touch was adding some Black Rhinestone Jewels in the center of the sunflower.

  1. Love these, Jeanie! And those perfect treats to put inside!!! We don’t have a Cracker Barrel here, otherwise I’d be heading right over there to pick some up!

  2. Love these decorated pizza boxes. Just how darn cute can you get!!!! This bundle is my #1 on my Wish List!
    Happy and Blessed Sunday.
    🙂

  3. I love them both for different reasons and therefore will take both instead of picking a favorite. Just kidding, well they are both super fun and yummy. Dang, we breezed right by Cracker Barrel on Thursday. Probably just as well we didn’t stop, I probably would have eaten whatever I bought before I made the treat holders! Taste testing is my motto to make sure they are good enough to give! I love that you used the wooden leaf sprig on the cajun craze one – looks so fallish. But, then the rhinestones look perfect on that fussy cut sunflower – exactly what I was thinking of doing sometime. Both are very cute!

  4. Those are both soooo cute! I can’t pick a favorite! Love your CB find that fits so perfectly in the boxes! You think of the best ideas for gift packaging! TFS.

  5. I found your little Fall box on Pinterest. Thank you for sharing! Ide orated 7 of the pizza boxes & put 4 Vanilla & 4 Pumpkin Spice tea light candles in them. 8 of us from High School are on our way to the beach for the weekend, & now I can give them a little autumn treat! I appreciated your instructions! 🍁

    1. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! Have a great beach weekend with your friends! I’m sure they will appreciate your treats!
