I left a piece of my heart in Georgia earlier this week. I am finally home after moving my daughter back to college, watching the eclipse, and dealing with 16 hours of traffic, construction, and several accidents on the drive home! I need some stamping therapy!
I made this little box for my daughter. I tucked it in with her stuff for her to find after we left.
I’ve made little boxes like this before. They can hold a Rocher chocolate or in this case, a big Hershey kiss! You can click HERE to see the previous post with the measurements and tutorial. I changed it up a bit this time and punched two holes at the top to thread the ribbon through to tie a bow. You could just as easily add a library clip or binder clip.
I chose elements from this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge board. I hope you will pick 3 and play! I went down the left column: love, gold, die cut.
The beautiful gold foil paper is from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper, the heart die cut is from the Wood Crate Framelits, and the sentiment is from the new Labels to Love Stamp Set (available Sept. 1).
This stamp set coordinates with another new item in the Holiday Catalog, the Everyday Label Punch. I love the versatility of this stamp set. You can make cards and treat holders for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentines, or any occasion (using the blank label)! I used the little “Made with Love” sentiment on my box.
