Memories & More

Here’s something you may not know about me…I was a scrapbooker (and Creative Memories consultant) before I was introduced to Stampin’ Up!  I remember making my first card at a friend’s house and thinking “Where has Stampin’ Up! been all my life?”  I was hooked! I still enjoy scrapbooking but now that my children are older I do not make as many albums as I used to.  I made baby albums, school days albums, birthday albums, etc. (I am sure it will come as no surprise to you that I also made ABC Albums for my kids.) Nowadays I just try to stay up to date on our family album. (The key word here is “try”.) The Memories & More albums, pocket pages, and coordinating packs of cards make it easy to put projects together quickly. The card packs are perfect for cardmaking, memory keeping, or any other project you can dream up. Check out this video to see how easy it is to create with the Memories & More card packs.

Here is a beautiful card I received from Chris R. using the Memories & More cards.

Card Created by Chris R.

She wrote, “These Memories & More cards are so fun to play with! I had to make you one!” I am so glad she did! I love and appreciate it! Chris used the different size cards in the Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack and layered them for a quick & easy card that’s just beautiful! She used the coordinating Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack to decorate the envelope.

I admit these cards were something I just skipped over in the catalog (pages 190 – 194) until now. You can bet these cards will be on my next order! Click on the links below to see all the card designs in each pack as well as lots of ideas. (FYI…the photos in the catalog do not do them justice! When viewing from the links below make sure to enlarge the photo and also click the arrow button to see all the cool ideas using the cards in each pack. It’s what sold me on them!)

  1. I couldn’t agree with you more about these packs. I just finished making 12 beautiful (if I say so myself!) cards using the Petal Garden one and I have TONS of materials left over. This pack also took me out of my comfort zone as I am not a big rose fan, but I have to say I had a lot of fun making the cards and was very pleased with the results. A lot of “bang” for only $10.00!

  2. Beautiful card, Chris! I skipped right over this set but I am going to take another look. Thank you both for the inspiration and little push. Have a smiley fun-filled day!

  3. Thanks Mary Ann and Jeanie! I did have to smile thinking, oh I gotta make this card for someone – I like it. Then, duh, I saw it was one of mine! Honest! I wasn’t sure about the other packs but this one was so much fun to play with. I love the color theory paper and the coordinating Colorful Seasons bundle. I normally wouldn’t pair these colors but this worked for me! Teeny Tiny Greetings made the anniversary and I had to add the word blog in there. I have ordered the labeler alphabet set since then and that would have looked cute to add the word “blog” to it. I can’t wait to play with the fall colored and snowflakes cards. There are also some little stickers to use and die cuts in the pack. I am off to check out the rest of the packs and I can’t wait to see what is in the one for Christmas!

  4. Sorry to go on and on but I thought I would get the stamp set for the Happy Anniversary’s name correct. Teeny Tiny Wishes. It is a great set for one line quick sentiments when you want the focus on the design more than the words. Also, I don’t think Jeanie mentioned it but you do get 2 double sided cards of each design. So, I can make a card just like this one after all. There are also two sizes of cards which it makes it easy for layering like I did.
