I knew once I got back home there would be so much to catch up on.  Needless to say I am late posting for this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Here’s this week’s challenge board.

 No automatic alt text available.

I decided to go down the far right row: all things round, stacked sentiment, and plants. My card is a simple thank you card but could be used for any occasion. There’s a sneak peek for you too…the new Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper which will be available in the holiday catalog next month!

This simple card is one of those layouts you could use again and again and it would look different each time by just changing the DSP, coordinating colors, and sentiment. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Circles Framelits but you could use squares, ovals, etc. I’m loving the Lemon Lime Twist with Garden Green.  I didn’t think I was going to like this color at all and I keep finding color combinations that look great with it! I guess the lesson here is never prejudge! Check back tomorrow for a color chart to use with the new In Colors!

How beautiful is this Painted Autumn DSP?! The other patterns are just as wonderful! My holiday preorder came yesterday and I couldn’t wait to see all the new paper!  I love DSP!  I will have more sneak peeks for you throughout the month. If you’ve ordered from me in the last 6 months your catalog will be arriving later this month.  I had them shipped directly from Stampin’ Up! so you will get to see all the new goodies soon!

  1. This DSP is beautiful, Jeanie, and I’m so excited because it’s coming in my order tomorrow! Can’t wait! How pretty and fresh these colors are! Love your card 🙂

  2. I love that color combination too and appreciate the “formula” style–i Ike it and can see so many sentiments going there. Would you share the paper cuts for the DSP panel?

    1. I am happy to share the measurements. The DSP is 3 1/8 x 4 7/8 and the Lemon Lime Twist layer is 1/8 larger at 3 1/4 x 5. You can vary it depending on what shape you need for the sentiment. Have fun creating! (I may use this formula in my next Just Stampin’ Buffet Kit. 🙂

  3. Great layout….simple and classic! Beautiful colors too! Have a cheerful day, Jeanie.

    1. Thanks Mary Ann! I hope you have a cheerful day too!!! You are always so positive I imagine all your days are cheerful! I always appreciate that you take the time to comment!
