Today’s adorable fun fold comes from Chris R. Oh how I love this little piggy and the way the sentiment peeks through on this fun fold. Chris did such a great job watercoloring him (or her?? I feel certain Chris has a name for each of these little cuties!) This Little Piggy stamp set is one of my favorite new sets in the annual catalog.
The real surprise (and huge smile) is when you open this card…
I laughed out loud when I opened it and read the inside sentiment. Chris didn’t choose one of the sentiments in the stamp set but this one goes perfectly with This Little Piggy!
Stampin’ Up! is so on trend with their Little Piggy images. I went sailing with my son the other day in Newport, R. I. It was the perfect day to be on the water and we had such a good time! Afterwards we walked around the local shops and I saw these in the window of an art gallery…

I had to make a card to make everyone smile and I snorta did! I have been calling this pig, Snortamore which is a play on Mortamore. I have no idea but as I was stamping him one day it just came to me. We gotta get on the task of deciding which sex they are and I have a list of names started for names. We can rename this one if need be but he will always be my Snortamore or Snorty for short.
I actually saw the Friend to Friend in Teeny Tiny Wishes and thought I need to use that for this card and now what do I put with it. I had the blue circle cut out sitting there so I put it with the color theory paper. Of course my pigs were sitting there and then I remembered my “snorta” one and thought that would be perfect! Easy Peasy, Fast and Easy since I waited until the very last darn minute to make it. The pigs were barely dry and I grabbed Ted’s leash and said Post Office and we hoofed it there just in time as they were just gathering the mail from the box to give to the big truck to take to Des Moines to post etc. Poor Ted didn’t even get petted by everyone on the way but he managed to get a few on the way back.
Oh Chris I LOVE the inside sentiment stamp. That really did make me LOL! How adorable is that!
