Blog Candy Winner!

Many, many thanks to all who took the time to comment on my blog anniversary post on July 4th!  If you missed that post (and my flag card), you can see it HERE. I loved reading all your comments and enjoyed the trip down Memory Lane. One post actually brought tears to my eyes as it did when I first wrote it. Here’s the winner of the blog candy as chosen by random.org….

random blog winner-1 year anniversary

Congratulations on one year! I have enjoyed seeing your projects and you have inspired me to make projects I had not thought of! One of my favorite posts was on March 8th. You made a beautiful wreath card that was inspired from a wreath your sister gave you. My last name also starts with the letter S, so I thought that was neat. Hope you and your family have a great 4th! 🙂

Carrie,  email me your address (j.stark@myactv.net) and I will put your card and embossing folders in the mail to you.

It seems Fun Fold cards are a favorite of many and the good news is I still have a few more fun folds to finish in this alphabet series.  Between my computer crashing, a concussion, and end of the school year, this series has extended a little longer than I anticipated.  I actually had all my ideas for the series written down months ago…sometimes it’s just a matter of finding the time to create. With my daughter home for the summer you know we have been spending lots of time together catching up. Hopefully it has been fun looking forward to what’s coming next.  And just wait til you see the exciting fun folds I have to share with you from the card swap!  Oh my gosh, I am blown away!!!  Be sure to check back!

Have a wonderful day!

  1. Congratulations Carrie! 🙂
Hi Jeanie, I always wondered if you had your alphabet ready before committing to doing a series. You sure have a trademark now, and I love it as I am sure all your blog readers do too. Looking forward to seeing all the swaps.
    Have a great Friday!
    🙂

    1. It’s the teacher in me who has to plan out everything. FYI…I have 3 more series in the works. The alphabet series help keep me focused with ideas to share. I think one reason I love teaching 4 year olds so much is their attention span and mine are about the same. LOL

  2. Congrats Carrie! Can’t wait to see the parade of cards, Jeanie. So much fun!

  3. Congrats Carrie! I like the idea that you are making the series last longer with the fun folds – gives us more time to absorb all the wonderful ideas! Whatever you do seems to work in my book! I had to smile at the attention span of a 4 year old!

    1. I love that the fun fold swap cards are some different ones and some twists to ones I showcased! Great variety!!!! I have photographed them and going to try to get them in the mail tomorrow before I go to visit with my son for a cookout by his pool! I am so excited as this is the first time he is hosting and cooking for us!

  4. YAY CARRIE ! Good for you !!
I had to giggle when I read your comment on you and your 4 year olds ADD !! I feel the same at times ….there are just too many things to get excited about (especially involving fun stuff to play with !) that distract us !!

  5. Yay for Carrie! Lots of wonderful comments–and deserved praise for you, Jeanie! Thanks for blogging and sharing with us.

  6. Thanks you Jeanie and everyone!!! I am super excited! Jeanie-I sent you an email. 😀
