Welcome to my ABC with Fun Folds series. Today’s card is a V fold card. I love the surprise inside when you open this card.
This is not as hard as it may look. I have lots of photos for you. My Basic Balck card base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. The inside piece is 5 x 8 whisper white scored at 4″. I measured 1 1/4 inches on either side of the center score line and made a mark. I also marked 1 1/4 down the center score line. Then I used the Stampin’ Trimmer and scored from the marks across the top to the mark on the center score line.
Fold along the center score line then gently fold the sides forward. It looks like a V.
I used the Boutquet Bunch Framelits to cut 2 stems to adhere on each side of the “V”. These will fold in when the card is closed. Do not adhere on the center fold.
Stamp and cut flowers to adhere to the bouquet. I used the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set and matching framelits. You can purchase this set as a bundle (145297) and Save 10%.
Here’s a close up of the flowers. I added a few Perfect White Accents and Pearl Basic Jewels to the centers of some of the flowers.
I used the Floral Statements Stamp Set for the front of my card. I stamped the sentiment on the new Glossy White Cardstock. I love this paper as it makes it even easier than ever to color using Markers.

Very victorious on this card! It is stunning! Fun surprise inside. I will have to try that sometime. Maybe I will need to start with A and work down the alphabet! The roofers are here today but they are suspiciously quiet. Maybe I had better go check on them. I just looked out the window and they are coming back from the new convenience store in the next block. You totally amaze me with your talents!
