There’s A New Chick In Town!

We had lots of fun with the chicken stamps from Sale-A-Bration.  Well, at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event last weekend, demonstrators got to see and play with some new products that will be coming out in the annual catalog in June.  Today I am going to share a sneak peek at one of those items, Wood Crate Framelits.  You can make fun packaging for small treats, gifts, and 3 x 3 cards.  I filled my crate with some chocolate chicks. YUM!img_1278

I thought this die made a cute chicken coup.  It was cut from the new Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack (which will also be available in the new annual catalog). I can see using this new die to make lots of fun 3D Projects.

This idea was on one of the display boards at the event. Love it!

This die has what I always look for…versatility! I love to make 3D projects and this one will be great for gift giving!  My little “Chicken Coup” is going to my friend who raises chickens.  We are getting together next week to go to the beach for a few days. I can’t wait!

  1. How stink’n cute! Your crate is super adorable and, as shown in your SU pic, can be decorated in many ways. Thanks, Jeanie.

  2. Darn, I wish I had chickens so it would have been coming to me – well not really…. my grandma’s chickens used to chase me when I was a kid and I probably still have nightmares of those cluckers! Phyllis, the wild haired chicken, is more my speed! Your friend will love this little treat holder and treats. I love this project! That little crate is just darling with the new papers to use and that copper ribbon stuff! I saw the products on Mary FIsh’s video of her new goodies. Have a safe trip!

  3. Hi ya Jeanie! So so cute and so darn creative. Love the red, white and blue one too.
    Enjoy your time away.
    🙂
