A Pocketful of Cheer

Yesterday I went online to order another Bunny Buddies refill kit only to find out they sold out!  I am not surprised.  If you missed out on that kit you can still make some adorable (and inexpensive) bunny treats for friends & family.  I made these for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers and they are almost too cute to eat!

These are made using the Pocketful of Cheer Paper Pumpkin refill kit (from March 2016). This refill kit is still available to purchase online.  I really like this kit. It makes gift card holders and cards that are perfect for grads, birthdays, Mother’s Day and more. Check out what comes with the kit and what you can make with it.

As you can see I didn’t use the gift card holders as intended.  I CASEd the idea for the bunny holders from Dawn Olchefske . I cut the gift card pockets in half to get 8 holders instead of 4. The Ghirardelli chocolate bunnies fit perfectly and even color coordinate!

  1. What am I going to do with you…..these are BEYOND CUTE….and YEP (I think) I have that refill….and YEP – I am going to CASE IT WITH PRIDE!!!! You are amazing, thanks for making all of us look great with your creativity…and if course we say Jeanie the pre-school teacher taught us!

  2. I too think I have this kit still sitting in the box. This is way cuter than the original projects. Love the little flowers that really make it sing “Spring!” TFS.

  3. What a cute use of the earlier kit! Thanks, Jeanie! Always looking for new ways to use the PP kits. BTW, have fun this weekend!!!! Say hi to everyone for me!

    1. Wish you were joining us! We will have to chat afterwards and share events from each! Much smaller group this time but I am sure we will be having one big pajama party!!!

  4. Love this kit ! I ordered refills as soon as I started making cards because the colors are so pretty and it is so cheerful. Your bunnies are too cute to eat !!

  5. So cute! I get a lot of good ideas from Dawn O. I love how they are color coordinated. We all know I have been known to take my ring of cardstock swatch samples to match up with candy – this just makes it so much easier. I wish other candy companies would go along with the SU color guide for us. It sure would be easier. Plus, I know we have our own chocolatier here in Pella but their packaging does not always work with my holders so I have to get name brands but boy are we lacking in Ghiradelli and Lindt rabbits and sheep this year. I do have this kit and only made a couple of the cards. I want to make some of these. Now, I gotta find the appropriate candy to fill them! Boy, it is always something, I swear! Hey Jeanie, do you prefer dark chocolate or milk chocolate?

    1. I LOVE milk chocolate! Susan likes the dark chocolate so I save the dark ones from the assorted nuggets pack for her. 🙂 I agree that the candy companies should come on board with our color scheme. I do see our colors in clothes and bedding so we are on trend. I love making little chocolate treat holders for my stamping gals and to bring to the hairdressers, office staff, etc. I have to make them and give them quick or else you know what happens to the chocolate. LOL

  6. Much thanks for our bunny treat and bag-o-goodies!! Signing up with Jeanie couldn’t be more fun and we’re always sharing many laughs!
