I Think I Can with Designer Tee Stamp Set

Today’s project showcases a stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, the Designer Tee stamp set. You can earn this stamp set for FREE with a qualifying order of $50 or more.  As a Pre-K teacher, there was one stamp in particular in this set that I knew I had to have!  Every year I read The Little Engine That Could to my students the first week of school.  This story sets a positive tone for the year.  Often when my students are learning something new I will ask, “What do you say when you’re trying something new?” They love to chant, “I think I can!” I love both my jobs…teaching in the morning and creating cards to inspire and share in the afternoon/evening.  I made these little tags to share with my students throughout the year. They can hang these on their book bag, use as a bookmark, or showcase their award.

I made a bunch of these in no time at all! I started with 2 x 4 1/4 pieces of Whisper White and Pacific Point cardstock. I punched each with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and Project Life Corner Rounder.  I stamped the images using Pacific Point ink.  I cut 10″ strips of ribbon and tied them together with 1/8″ silver ribbon.  I can write a little handwritten note on the back of the whisper white piece.  Quick & simple!

Check out this video showing some other ways you can use the Designer Tee Stamp set.

I like how Holly shared how to use this stamp set with the coordinating Custom Tee Bundle from the occasions catalog as well as That’s the Tag Bundle.  The images in the set are so versatile to use for other projects too! In my recent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator magazine, Ashley Van Camp shared how she used the Designer Tee stamp set to create cards for many different occasions. Love the envelopes to match made with the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper and the Envelope Punch Board.

  1. What an inspiring idea! You sound like a great teacher and your gift to the children is awesome!

  2. As a former librarian, i love the idea of motivational bookmarks! This is super cute use of that set. TFS.

  3. I liked that book and that is a great beginning of the year book to read. To have the tags is even better to use as a book mark or to hang from their little back packs or whatever – that was just clever of an idea. I wish I had the feeling of accomplishment – maybe I should go over to the library and check out a copy! It is fun having the public library one block over. I wonder if they would like to have some of these on hand. I wish it wasn’t a SAB set. I might have to borrow it! Love the colors you chose too. Blue for first place! Maybe Susan will make them for Will’s class!
