Here is the latest news I received from Stampin’ Up! regarding the watercolor pencils…

We have experienced a very high demand for our Watercolor Pencils and are working as quickly as we can to replenish this item. A shipment has arrived in Salt Lake City which will enable us to fill all backorders within the next day or two. At that time we will also be able to accept orders for a period of time (depending on demand).

We have placed additional orders for this item and should hear back on shipping schedules when our suppliers return next Monday from celebrating Chinese New Year; however, due to the holiday and the brief interruption of service, there is a high likelihood that this item will temporarily return to backorder or not-orderable status.

  1. I had an E-mail from SU saying mine was being shipped. I am excited to be able to play with them. I have a set I bought locally and they are fun to use but the colors don’t always go with the cardstock or DSP. I think they should package two of the Old Olive’s (that is the green in the pack isn’t it?) since we would be using that pencil for leaves and stems and other greenery. Has there been any word of increasing the colors?
