It’s time to start Sale-A-Brating!!! Stampin’ Up!’s biggest sales event of the year is here—and I’m here to help you learn about the products inside and out. This alphabet series will showcase new products in the 2017 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Today I am sharing a card I made using the Avant Garden Stamp Set (from the Sale-A-Bration catalog) and All Things Thanks Stamp Set (from the Occasions catalog).
I started with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Sahara Sand cardstock for my card base. I scored it at 5 1/2 and added a 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 strip of Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper. I love how this flower from the Avant Garden Stamp Set goes with the DSP from the Annual Catalog. I stamped the flower on Whisper White using Island Indigo, Mint Macaron, and Whisper White (for the center of the flower). I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits (LOVE these!!!!) to cut out the flower and layered it on a piece of Mint Macaron cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits. (I love how Stampin’ Up! made it so these Framelits work together to give us more layering options.) I used the Mini Striped Mint Macaron Ribbon to tie a simple knot around my flower layer and attached it to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment is from All Things Thanks and stamped in Island Indigo. Quick & Simple! I can think of so many people to send this card to. Florals are so versatile for so many different cards. It could be used for a birthday card, congratulations, thank you, or just a note for no special reason. I really like this sentiment and font!
