I was planning my upcoming workshops this weekend and decided to make some tags for my Boxes, Bags, and Tags class next month. I love to make tags for the gifts I give and I also like to give tags as a gift.  It makes a great little hostess gift for your holiday parties.

Handmade tags using Stampin’ Up! Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack and Perfect Pines Framelits

The patterns in the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack have a warmhearted, homespun feeling.  I like to layer my tags so I can write a little note on the layer underneath or just stamp to and from.  My tags measure 2 x 4 1/4 (you get 10 from a sheet of cardstock).  I punched the cardstock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I  cut the trees and stars using the Perfect Pines Framelits.  The stars are cut from scraps of Delightful Dijon. I adhered the trees to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals and used a glue dot for the star. The sentiment from Flurry of Wishes is stamped using Basic Black ink.  I tied the Burlap Ribbon with some Lined Thread and made a bow to complete the tags.  These are simple and quick to make!

Here’s another idea for quick and easy gift giving using Stampin’ Up! Gift Boxes.

Wouldn’t you love to give or receive a card like this? I love to receive handwritten notes and cards and I have a special “treasure” box where I save them.  I like to go through them when I need a “pick me up” or just want to remember the moment.  I have a couple of cards and letters from my dad and grandmother who have passed away and I love seeing their handwriting and rereading their letters.

Sharing handmade kindness makes a difference!

STARTING NOV. 1 you can purchase the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies used on the card above.    You can bet I will be up at the crack of dawn placing my order. Let me know if you want to order a set and I can add it to my order. (You will save on shipping.) I love the sweet edging the dies create and classic shapes that coordinate with Stampin’ Up! Layering Squares, Circles and Ovals Dies.  Stampin’ Up! is offering 25% off select stamps that coordinate with the new stitched framelits. What a great savings!!
