M is for Moroccan DSP

Welcome to the ABC’s with DSP!  This month I am featuring projects showcasing Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper. Today I am using the Moroccan Designer Series Paper.  This paper pack was not on my wish list and I did not even purchase it until the BOGO special this month.  Boy was I missing out!  This paper has gorgeous designs on both sides and now I can’t wait to create with it! Here’s my first card made with this DSP (look for many more to come).

I love Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy together.  This card came together quickly with the help of the Layering Circles Framelits and Duet Banner Punch. The sentiment is from the Jar of Love Stamp Set and is perfect with these hanging lanterns from the Moroccan Nights Stamp Set. I cut the DSP at 2″ for both my card and matching envelope.

  1. I agree that the paper did not speak to me but these cards are changing that! Love your light up my life card with the rhinestones! Very clever! I love the Tin of Cards card also. I am sure you will have lots of giggles with the class this weekend! I wish I could be a fly on the wall….. Better yet I wish I could be there myself!!!!

    1. Ramsey, if you have the Tin of Cards kit come join us and put yours together (or just come chat and see all the designs). We are getting together Sunday afternoon. You are certainly welcome to join us. I have 8 ladies coming and not sure how many Susan has coming but we have lots of room. Email me if you want to come. 🙂

  2. I love this paper so much! On the light up my life card, how did you make the background banner larger than the white banner? It’s a lovely card.

    1. Hi Carol! The blue banner is the same size as the very vanilla one. I just punched out 2 blue and overlapped them (trimming off the inside end on each) to make it longer. It is attached a little above the very vanilla and appears to be larger when it is actually just a little longer. You don’t notice or really see that there is a seam on the blue one (as long as you line it up carefully. Hope this helps!
