M is for Many Marvelous Markers

Welcome to my ABC’s of Stampin’ Series.  Today I am going to share with you the Many Marvelous Markers from Stampin’ Up! and some tips and techniques for using them. Here is a short video from Stampin’ Up! showing some fun and easy techniques with markers.

Who knew Breathing, Tapping, and Spritzing were marker techniques!

Stampin Up Thoughts & Prayers Thinking of You card idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

I used Old Olive and Early Espresso markers to color the tree from Thoughts & Prayers Stamp set.  I gave it a good huff of breath and stamped it on Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut out the sentiment using the Layering Ovals Framelits (on sale this week for 25% off). I embossed the background with the Petal Burst embossing folder.  I like the way it compliments the leaves from the tree.  I added some burlap ribbon and tied the end with linen thread.  I used the same “breathing technique” to make the matching envelope.

  1. Hi Jeanie, loved you K, L & M posts. I don’t know how you do it. It must have taken you months to do this!
    🙂🙋🏼

    1. Hi Nancy! I teach PreK and I think my brain is wired to think in terms of integrating everything with letters of the alphabet. LOL When I first came up with this thought I sat down and just started writing some possibly ideas and filled the alphabet with multiple ideas (with the exception of a couple “outside the box” ideas). Now, as far as the samples to go with the letters each day, that did take more of an effort. 🙂 It has been so much fun!!!! Thanks so much for stopping by I really enjoy hearing from you and appreciate the feedback!
