Fun Fold Friday…Double Z Fold

I have been receiving swap cards in the mail all week. What a treat it has been going to the mailbox!  This beauty was an absolute favorite of mine and I thought it was perfect to showcase in my Fun Fold Friday series!

I love beachy cards and this one has such a cool sentiment to go with it!  Sharon outdid herself with this fun fold card.  Check out how it looks when you open it up.

I love the way she used the Stampin’ Up!  Window Sheets to cut thin strips to hold the fish. The Seaside Embossing Folder was the perfect choice for a background.  Sharon used the Seaside Shore Stamp Set which coordinates beautifully with By The Shore Designer Series Paper. To make a Double Z Fold card you start with a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock. Score at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2.  You will score the other 11 inch strips the same. Make sure you only put adhesive on each end of the thin strip when adhering it to your card.

I mailed my swap cards out earlier this week. I made a fun fold card too! I couldn’t decide which color flower I wanted to do so I used three different In Colors for my cards.

I posted directions for this Pop Up Card previously.  Click HERE to see that.

Here’s my “attempt” at an infinity shot of some of the cards before I mailed them.

Check back this weekend to see more cards from the card swap.

I hope “your day goes swimmingly”!
