Stampin’ for All Ages

I love to share my joy of stamping with others…especially new stampers.  It is so much fun to see their excitement as they create their first masterpiece.  I want to introduce you to Claire, my newest and youngest stamper to date.  Claire is an adorable soon to be fourth grader. She wanted to make a card for both her brother and mother who had birthdays this week. (Happy Birthday Owen and Rachel!)

There was no denying that embossing with the Big Shot was Claire’s favorite tool!  I always say embossing folders are the biggest bang for your buck and make such an impact on a card.  Claire’s brother, Owen, is a big baseball player and she knew she wanted to make him a baseball card.  She used the Stars Embossing Folder along with a stamp set from Paper Pumpkin to make some baseballs.  She had fun punching stars and adding them to the front of her card, inside, and even on the envelope.  I was so busy enjoying showing her all the stamps and tools that I didn’t take as many photos as I wish.

Claire’s mom loves pink and purses so I helped her incorporate both!  Claire made a purse box to put her card in. She was so excited to give it to her mom!

Didn’t she do a great job!!!  I’m sure Claire will be reading my blog so please leave her a comment. I don’t know who had more fun …Me or her!  I get so much pleasure out of seeing others enjoy this craft as much as I do.

Another stamper who loves to spend time making cards (or homemade candy or helping others) is Sister Corda.  Sister Corda is a retired teacher but still helps out in the classroom as well as in the community. She may be my oldest stamper but she has no problem creating works of art.

She helped me create 160 of these teapots for “A Little Pink Tea” to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.  She is also a Paper Pumpkin Player and enjoys getting together with others to create.
