Do You Like Surprises?

I LOVE surprises!  Each month I look forward to my “Happy Mail”.  I made this fun card for my daughter using my June Paper Pumpkin kit. I wanted to give her a special thank you card for helping me set up my blog. I think this banner surprise card did the trick!

Watch the video below to check out everything that came in my Paper Pumpkin box and see how to put this cool banner card together. Directions and all the supplies you need are in the box!

I think you’ll agree you get a great bang for your buck!  I usually have lots of left over supplies to use on other projects.  I’ve been a Paper Pumpkin subscriber now for almost 3 years. I love to take mine with me when I am traveling.  It’s easy to work on because everything I need is inside the box.  I offer alternative project ideas each month.  For this card  I used the Banners for You stamp set and matching Bunch of Banners Framelits to stamp and cut out the sentiment.  I popped it up with dimensionals and thought it was just perfect for my daughter.  She is an amazing young lady and I am so proud of her!  She wanted me to start this blog so I wouldn’t miss her so much when she leaves for college next month. (How sweet is that!) I don’t think anything is going to make me miss her any less but I do enjoy creating and sharing with others.

If you would like to get some “Happy Mail” and start receiving your Paper Pumpkin kit you need to sign up by the 10th of the month to get that month’s kit. Signing up is easy….just click  SHOP PAPER PUMPKIN in the bar at the top.  Your kit will be delivered right to your door (shipping & handling is included). Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

  1. A special card for a special young lady….your daughter sounds amazing! She is so thoughtful to think of you and help your “creative juices flow” now and when she is at college. Thanks for sharing your story and amazing card.

  2. O.k. folks – I am blesses to know and witness what an AMAZING young lady Jeanie’s daughter is…we are all going to need to rally together when the princess (that’s what I call her as she is so special) goes off to college. HAPPY MAIL is great mail!
